This website is for the St. Albans town twinning association with Nevers, France.

St. Albans is a small Cathedral city in England approx 19 miles from London or 20 mins on a train from St. Pancras station.  For more information see the local council website http://www.stalbans.gov.uk/

We arrange exchange visits to Nevers when we stay with local families and visit places of historical and cultural interest.  The visits normally take place in May and are biennial.  In the intervening year L’Amicale de Nevers visit us in St. Albans they normally arrive on a Thursday evening and leave on the Sunday morning.  One day is spent with their hosts and one day is often a coach trip out to a place of historical or cultural interest.
